Magis Program


Magis participants are lay men and women who associated with ministries sponsored by the Society of Jesus and desire developing a deeper familiarity with the Ignatian charism. The program team and seminar presenters are fellow lay and Jesuit colleagues drawn from Jesuit ministries.
The Magis Program is a structured and creative way for people who work in Jesuit ministries to more deeply engage in Ignatian spirituality, learn about the Jesuit Mission and Way of Proceeding, and meet other committed lay colleagues from the many and varied Jesuit works on the East Coast. The eighteen month program consists of four seminars, a retreat, regular reading, personal reflection and prayer.
A new cohort will be starting fall 2013. Seminar dates for this group:
- Oct 23-25, 2013 -- Wisdom House, Litchfield, CT
- Mar 13-15, 2014 -- Mercy Center, Madison, CT
- Oct 23-25, 2014 -- location TBD
- Mar 12-14, 2015 -- location TBD
Cost is $900 and includes room and board for for four 2-day seminars and all materials. (Cost of the retreat is not included)
