People Who Make the Difference

The Jesuit Collaborative (TJC) is blessed with many, many gifts, first and foremost the outstanding people – staff, volunteers (Ignatian Partners), and supporters - who live and breathe the mission and work tirelessly with great determination and joy. Sr. Lisa Buscher, RSCJ and Mary Tracy are two of those people who have made a real difference in advancing the mission of The Jesuit Collaborative.
Sr. Lisa Buscher, RSCJ is a Religious of the Sacred Heart and is currently ministering as an intern with The Jesuit Collaborative in Boston. Sr. Lisa has served as a Campus Minister, Spiritual Director, Outreach Ministry Coordinator and taught in two Sacred Heart schools in Chicago and San Francisco. Before entering the Society of the Sacred Heart in 2001, she worked for several years in full-time lay parish ministry in the Diocese of Phoenix. She was a pastoral minister directing and coordinating ministries with youth and adult formation in the areas of Youth Ministry, Liturgy, Music and Christian Initiation. Sr. Lisa is a graduate of Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ and holds an MA in Theology from Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, IL and a Master of Divinity from the Catholic Theological Union. As TJC intern, Lisa works on a multitude of projects including the discernment process on the future of the Spiritual Exercises ministry across the three provinces, regional workshops, and the CLIA program.
Mary Tracy has served as the Regional Project Manager for the Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLIA) program in Boston. She was recently appointed as the Program Coordinator for the overall CLIA program, which currently operates in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., and is set to open in a fifth city in the near future. Mary is a graduate of the Newton College of the Sacred Heart, Newton, MA and Suffolk University Law School, Boston, MA. After a successful career in real estate law with the firm of Palmer & Dodge, Mary returned to school, earning her Masters in Theological Studies from the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. As the CLIA Program Coordinator, Mary will be working with the regional project managers to strengthen the curriculum and various other elements such as mentoring and alumni activities, ensuring best practice in this Ignatian leadership formation program for young adults.
TJC is truly blessed to have these talented, devoted and joyful women helping people grow closer to God through Ignatian ministry.
