Discerning the Future of the Ministry

The process of discerning how to move forward in the ministry of the Spiritual Exercises throughout the three East Coast provinces began recently in New York with full-day sessions in Rochester and New York City.  On June 19th, approximately 30 people met at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, and on June 26th, approximately 40 people gathered at Regis High School in Manhattan.

"A Discernment, with spirits" Reception at Fairfield

Participants in the Program in Directing the Spiritual Exercises co-sponsored by Fairfield University and The Jesuit Collaborative (TJC), program faculty members, Ignatian ministry practitioners, and friends of TJC gathered at Bellarmine Hall on the campus of Fairfield University for a delightful summer evening of fellowship and refreshment.  Jim Conroy, S.J., TJC's executive director, welcomed the guests, and Jim Bowler, S.J., faculty member, spoke about the program within the context of collaboration. CLIA Panel Discusses Work and Faith

TJC Welcomes New Intern

The Jesuit Collaborative recently welcomed a new member to the team, Alyssa Adreani who joined the staff in January as an intern.  Alyssa is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Contemplative Leaders In Action Program – Boston.  Alyssa is a full-time student at Boston College’s School of Theology and Ministry, pursuing her goal of becoming a hospital chaplain.  She graduated from Boston University in 1998 with a BA in Linguistics and Anthropology and an MA in Appl Continue Reading »
